Karlie Kloss’ Nolita Digs Are On The Market For $6.9 Million
The 2,000 square-foot home designed by acclaimed architecture firm Roman and Williams (who also designed the Ace Hotel New York) is listed for $6.995 million. It’s part of a luxury condo complex with a red brick façade (that was supposedly “hand laid by traditional Irish masons”) and 15 custom designed homes.
The spacious, light-filled property has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, plus a living room, open kitchen, and 1,120 square-foot terrace. Gorgeous walnut flooring arranged in a herringbone pattern and huge windows that let in plenty of natural light are a consistent theme throughout the home.
An impressive granite wood-burning fireplace is the focal point of the east-facing living room. In the listing photo, three separate sitting areas are set up, with a cozy couch facing the fireplace, two chairs set by a coffee table, and a table situated by a window.
A set of French doors breathe into the large master suite with an interesting geometric pattern on the walls and two walk-in closets. The master bathroom is seriously stunning, with Calacatta Gold marble slabs and brass fixtures. There’s a glass-walled shower and a deep soaking tub we wouldn’t mind spending some time in, pretending this is our life.
The second bedroom is currently set up as a media room and complete with custom built-ins, a walk-in closet, and a recently renovated bathroom outfitted with a Watermark steam shower and bench. The listing notes that the bedroom can fit a king-sized bed.
You get an extra dose of walnut in the kitchen with the Danish cabinets, and there’s a dining area right off the kitchen with French doors that open out onto the terrace.
This brings us to the pièce de résistance. The sprawling terrace with two giant pergolas has draped ivy, a gas fireplace, and an irrigation system that’s fairly impressive, especially for a private residence in downtown Manhattan. The herringbone motif that continues as red brick is laid out in this pattern, and there are three access points to the terrace from the apartment.
As for the building’s amenities, there’s a doorman, superintendent, gym, bike room, private storage, and—in case the private terrace wasn’t enough—a recently renovated roof patio.
