Kate Upton Confessed That She Returned Wedding Gifts to Get a Second (!) Roomba, and We Don’t Blame Her One Bit

Let’s be honest: the Roomba vacuum is a pretty damn good invention. Not only does it squeeze under and around the most difficult areas to clean in a home, but it also does the work for you (and never complains about it, either). But we’re not the only ones who think so: Kate Upton just revealed that her all-time favorite wedding gift was a Roomba.

On a recent episode of Whitney Cummings’ “Good for You” podcast, Cummings asked Upton to share the best gift she received from her wedding. Upton didn’t skip a beat with saying “I got a Roomba that I just love,” to which Cummings burst out laughing.

But the admiration for the vacuum didn’t stop there. Upton said she loved her Roomba so much that she returned some of her wedding gifts to keep that Roomba company with a second one. While giggling, Upton said, “Two Roombas!”

Do we blame her, though? It checks off a major chore without you having to lift a finger, and by having two, you can cover more ground in a shorter period of time. Plus, it’s less work for each Roomba. How kind of Upton!

She also raved about the latest model of the Roomba, which has an enhanced memory feature we can all get behind. “The new ones they go back to their little pod and they empty themselves, and then go back to the exact spot that they left off,” Upton explained to Cummings, who proceeded to crack up.

Moral of the story: put a Roomba on your registry, or get one for someone whether or not they asked for one. They’ll thank you later.
