Every room has a great amount of light, making the apartment airy and refreshing. - Multi-functioning furniture is a must! The most of the major pieces I have double as storage, which is extremely convenient when cabinet and closet space is at a premium.
A round table can really open up a combined living and dining space. Visually, the room will look more spacious, and maneuvering about a round table is much easier in a cramped space.
Keep clutter to a minimum! In a small apartment, it's important to make sure you're not piling up mail and junk on surfaces. A small dining table with a clear top (aside from some decorative pieces) will make a room look more open and inviting than a table collecting every notebook appliance and magazine you've pulled out throughout the week.
