Katy Perry Lists Her Runyon Canyon Home for $9.5 Million
California Gurl Katy Perry is on the move. The pop star and recent VMAs host has listed her Hollywood Hills home atop the city’s popular hiking spot, Runyon Canyon.
Variety reports that it’s one of two properties the singer is unloading, since they failed to sell off market with a rumored combined asking price of $15 million. This one is the larger of the two, and boasts 7,416 square feet, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two half baths on 2.33 acres.
For sure, the outdoor space is a (teenage) dream that’s basically the size of a piazza with a pool and cabanas, an outdoor living room with a fireplace, tiled fountains, an outdoor pizza oven, cultivated fruit trees, multiple gardens and terraces, and an amphitheater for outdoor concerts.
Inside, the Mediterranean style home doesn’t skimp on luxury, either. The style is a boho glam hybrid, with a peacock headboard and crocheted afghan sharing the same space as Chanel throw pillows and sputnik chandeliers. In terms of features that are staying put, though, there are grand fireplaces that are “practically tall enough to stand in”, vaulted beamed ceilings, and an expansive master bedroom suite with a Roman style bathroom.
Perry bought the place in April 2013 for $8.2 million. She’s already traded the Hollywood Hills for Beverly Hills, and a $19 million manse in the Coldwater Canyon area she bought back in April 2017. Her new ‘hood is flush with star-studded neighbors like Adele, Jennifer Lawrence, Ashton Kutcher and Milia Kunis, and Cameron Diaz, and Nicole Kidman.
