Keep An Eye Out For: Vintage Plant Stands

Cruising the flea market circuit recently, we've taken notice of these circular vintage plant stands. After seeing them pop up at a handful of sellers booths, we looked online for a little more info on how exactly they were used.

Lisa Hallett Taylor's educated guess has these dating back to the 1950s
We found this one at This Is Not IKEA for $85

Around the same time, while taking photos for Annie's House Tour, we were pleased to stumble across the plant stands in action (top photo). Annie used them to display plants, books and other decorative finds. We love the simplicity of the white wire stand but also think it would be neat to spray paint one a bright color.
