Kid Friendly Plush Microbes

Kid Friendly Plush Microbes

It's flu season and we're all trying hard to keep our hands washed and our mouths covered, so the plush nature of these scientific "toys" seems like quite the contrast. It's not often you get to say, "Here honey, have some Salmonella, oh and some Athlete's Foot, just for fun!"

Each microbe or body part retails for $12.90 and although our first reaction is that a bag of pom-poms and googly eyes costs half that, but even still the joy and whimsy that these small little petri dishes could bring is second to none.

Although they might not seem like your normal toy to pack in your bag for fun on the go, we can see how having them around might make for an educational experience. Plus, they might make a child who is suffering from a real life version of the above plushy sicknesses, comforted by putting a tactile experience to something they can't see.

Ear Ache
Sore Throat
Bar Breath
Red Blood Cell (and White Blood Cell)
Athlete's Foot
Brain Cell
