Does your child talk of one day having their own land where they can rule -- in a completely cute, non-despotic way? Are they in love with maps and puzzles? Do you like the idea of personalized toys that you can save for years after they've outgrown them? Kidlandia might be right up your alley.

We recently received a Kidlandia puzzle and while puzzles in and of themselves are great, this one offered a fun twist. Children can create their own personalized landform/kingdom that will then appear on the puzzle. Names of parents, grandparents, pets, friends, hobbies, favorites books -- just about anyone or thing -- can be part of the map.

Our son being a total cartography geek was instantly delighted with the idea of having his own body of land complete with Memaw Joanne Island and Agnes the Cat Bay. The maps can be created on fantasy locations, real world maps or with a few popular cartoon character themes. Our puzzle also came in a personalized storage tin, which not only will protect the pieces better than a cardboard box, it also adds to the cuteness factor of the entire puzzle. And if puzzles aren't you thing, your child's land can also be printed on blankets, gallery wrapped canvases, posters and scrolls.
