Kids 14 and Under Can Fly For Free On This Budget Airline

Going on vacation can be one of the best things that your family does together—you can make memories that will last a lifetime. As much fun as traveling can be, the flight costs to your destination can be crippling for a family, especially ones with multiple kids. Children over the age of two are charged a full-price ticket by most airlines, and even if that 3-year-old is going to demand to sit in your lap the entire time, you often will have to pay for a seat for them on the plane.

Now, if you fly Frontier Airlines, you won’t have to break the bank if you’re traveling with children. The offer is only available for people who sign up for the airline’s savings club, Discount Den. There’s an annual fee of $60 per year, but Frontier defines “kid” as anyone aged 14 or under, which gives you plenty of years to save. This offer is only valid if the child flying is flying with an adult, and has a limit of one child per adult. So, a family of four with two adults and two children would only have to pay for the adult airfare tickets—if there was a third child, the parents would have to pay the additional fare.

There are some limitations—right now, the offer is only valid for select dates, but we can be hopeful that Frontier will continue to offer additional dates as the year continues. Also, international flights are not included at this time.
