Location: Hillcrest District — Little Rock, Arkansas
My apartment is a one bedroom with hardwood floors, built-in shelves and a faux fireplace. It is around 650 square feet. It has a lot of unique elements — both what it came with and what I have brought. The kitchen has a great white and black checkered linoleum floor with black and white cabinets that are magnetized. I chose to paint the walls a Tiffany blue to complement the black and white.
I have a style that is very vintage and I like to look "cluttered" — but have everything in its place. My inspiration comes from Henry Cartier Bresson — my favorite photographer — as well as French culture, vintage pieces and my love for birds. I am thrifty and a challenge to me was the simple fact that I am not wealthy — I cannot buy exactly what my vision may be so I have to go around that and be even more creative when I am decorating my home. I have lived here for almost four months now and I am completely in love with it. I hope you find it as charming as I do!
