Kim’s Project + Product Research: DIY Headboard & Sourcing Nightstands

Because my color involves a project (due to painting restrictions) I've decided to make a headboard and for my décor pairing I'm on the lookout for two nightstands that work well together without matching completely.

For the sake of time and sanity I plan on keeping the headboard pretty simple, no curved lines or elaborate details. Keeping this in mind here are a few of the DIY's that I found to base by design on, the next step is just to source the fabric that I'm going to use.
