Kim's Treasure Hunt: City Culture & Style

Day 2 of the Style Cure involved going out and cultivating some inspiration. Luckily, I happen to live in a very creative neighborhood in San Francisco, so finding inspiration wasn't too difficult. Here's what I came up with.

The living wall at the Conservatory of Flowers is a great example of a creative way to incorporate plants by growing them along a vertical surface.

The eclectic exterior of the Buena Vista Social Club. Art is quite literally everywhere around here. I want to incorporate a bit of the city's quirky and slightly edgier side into my decor.

Colorful tins line the shelves at the Italian deli Lucca. I love the pop of color and imagery that conveys a sense of the culture

I decided to look to my personal style for textile inspiration. This dress is a good example of the type of patterns and textures I tend to be drawn to.

I picked this little guy up on a recent trip to Israel. I love the warmth of the brass and  the idea of incorporating more finds from my travels into my decor.

I've posted these, along with a few others, to my Pinterest and Instagram accounts under #stylecure, if you want to follow along with me there as well.
