Kindergarten Day USA and China

We really like this book recommendation from "Unplug Your Kids." It's a flip book that has photos and descriptions of a typical kindergarten day in the US and China- all from a child's point of view.

We can imagine this type of book leading to all kinds of activities and being applied in the home. For example, the book has a little clock on each page displaying the time in the US and in China- why not hang two clocks in your home so children can keep track of relatives in different time zones.

We have friends that have their children spin a globe and point to a different spot each month. The family then learns about whatever country they've chosen, eating their food and learning their customs.

Thanks for the recommendation Unplug Your Kids. The book is available here.
