Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: Our home is a mid-century modern work in progress, just like the people who live in it. It’s full of old and new and love and light and a whole lot of life. It’s not perfect and neither are we, but it’s perfect for us. The day we toured this house we fell in love with the 26’ ceilings, open floor plan, and natural light. The previous owner had some plants that just triggered a need for me to own all the plants and decorate around them.

What is your favorite room and why? Our kitchen hands down is my favorite room in the house. It’s one of the rooms we have not touched but somehow we’ve managed to make it ours. Its bright tile sparks joy and the large windows bring the outside in. Some days I’ll be drinking coffee and having a stare down with a squirrel for my toast.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? A deacon bench! I found it on marketplace for $70 and the lady was so sweet and delivered it to me when I wasn’t able to pick it up.

Any advice for creating a home you love? Fill your home with pieces that speak to you but are versatile and can be used in more places than one! That way when you want to switch things up you can shop your own home. Also, plants. You can’t look at a plant and not be happy.
