This Twitter User Found ‘The Perfect Kitchen’—and It Has an Actual Hot Tub In It
Depending on who you ask, the “dream kitchen” might have different features, with most probably featuring plenty of counter space, well-made appliances, ample storage space, and more. At long last, one Twitter user has shattered the myth of the elusive “perfect kitchen,” showing photos of a spacious eat-in kitchen with an actual hot tub inside.
Houston-based musician Brant Croucher recently shared his findings, writing, “The perfect kitchen doesn’t exi—” and showing three home listing photos of a truly ornate kitchen and its included hot tub off to the side near the dining table.
In a subsequent tweet, he wrote, “There’s a list of people I’d like to hear from, regarding this project. At the top of the list is the homeowners, of course. But I’d also really love to pick the brain of the contractor and get some thoughts from the listing agent. I would listen to an entire podcast about it.” He then added, jokingly, “Honey, I think I’ll have my dinner in the tub.”
Croucher’s tweets quickly picked up steam online, with some pointing out the kitchen’s many wild features, including a table with an elephant at the base and a flatscreen TV on the wall in the corner. But it raised some understandable questions about the most wild feature of all—the in-kitchen jacuzzi tub—including the humidity levels in a room where cooking and baking meets hot tubbing.
Though Croucher didn’t share the home’s listing site, plenty came to his replies to share their particularly awful suggestions for how to utilize the tub, including using it to boil eggs, adding oil and creating the world’s largest deep fryer, or creating a makeshift coffee pot by simply adding coffee grounds directly to the tub.
Further proof that when it comes to finding your dream home, there’s truly no limit to what features and amenities you might find if you search long enough.
