Too Lazy to Package and Ship Your Amazon Return? Just Bring It to Kohl’s
This week Amazon brings great news for online shoppers who dread dealing with returns. It’s been nearly two years since Kohl’s teamed up with Amazon to bring select Amazon products into its stores. And now the e-commerce and brick and mortar retailer partnership is getting even sweeter for everyone involved.
Starting in July, every single one of Kohl’s stores will accept Amazon returns, no shipping box required. That means there are more than 1,150 locations ready and waiting to help you return any and all eligible Amazon purchases that didn’t quite cut it. All you have to do is bring your item to a Kohl’s customer service desk and they take care of the return shipping process. To sweeten the deal, you also get access to premium parking spots at Kohl’s when you arrive with your return.
Kohl’s and Amazon have been testing the return service in Los Angeles and Chicago stores, and the latest expansion is a sure sign it’s going well. Kohl’s stores will benefit from the boost in foot traffic and new customers. In fact, Kohl’s stock closed up by 12 percent immediately following the announcement.
The department store has been working on more partnerships lately, including with Scott Living, the home and furniture collection from HGTV’s “Property Brothers” Drew and Jonathan Scott.
Amazon also allows for unboxed returns of eligible items at Whole Foods and UPS stores, so take a close look at the options when you’re starting the return process.
