Here's another option for parents looking for a high chair with an extended life span. Previously only available in Europe, the Küster K1 high chair now has a U.S. distributor and is intended for use from six months to six years.
The K1 may look large with its beechwood body, but the chrome legs fold flat so you can store it when not in use. The footrest adjusts to five positions and the tray is removable so older children can eat at the table with the boost in height they need.
Another nice feature is the rear storage basket for holding bibs, toys, etc. The high back is supposed to encourage correct posture and is great for taller kids.
Made by Küster, the K1 is available in beech or white and costs $250. The cushion is an additional $50. Sold (with free shipping) by Bare Babies.
