Kyle's recent post on creepy, abandoned houses reminded me of local photographer Rob Dobi's eerie and evocative collection, New England Ruins. I'm delighted to discover that he's now selling prints of these ghostly images online.
From the peeling plaster of neglected theaters to the haunted halls of former asylums, his images explore the unique and untold stories of New England's abandoned institutions. According to the RISD grad, "Even as a child, I questioned the significance of abandoned buildings and the stories they could tell by simply walking through them and seeing what is left, or more importantly, what isn't."
All the images are available in a variety of sizes, paper types, and framing options at Dobi's online store.
