Laundry Disasters

Laundry Disasters

May 21, 2008

One of our favorite things about our current home is that we have laundry in our building. Now that we know who is using the machines, we feel there's a higher level of laundry respect and our risk factor is low(er).

But shared facilities, no matter if it's only a few extra loads or a communal laundromat, can prove problematic. We know what ours is but now we want to know...

Now, with a select group of people using the machines, we've only had to suffer through a bit more dog hair than we're used to and a few unfortunate shrinkage incidents.

When we frequented a laundromat, however, our most traumatic experience involved a high-heat dryer, a load of whites, and one evil green crayon. Let's just say that we learned that bleach is nothing when faced with with speckles upon smears of melted wax.

So what horror stories have you got to share?
