Yesterday's Good Questions post got us thinking about carving out a nursery nook when an entire room isn't available. Lack of space definitely doesn't have to mean lack of style, and this nursery nook is a beautiful example. It's warm and bright, and you can see the love that went into curating this little nest.

Laura Normandin of Wren Handmade made her son's area extra special with small touches. The red shelves and rocking chair she found while antiquing in the countryside, and she crocheted him an afghan, handstitched a mobile out of scrap pieces of fabric, and repainted an Ikea dresser a beautiful shade of pale grey. Oh, and did you notice the patchwork pillow? Her pals at Martha Stewart, where she used to work, each embroidered a square for the new baby and gave her the stitched up pillow at a baby shower. Special? We'd say so!
