Le Creuset’s Latest Color Launch Is Like Nothing They’ve Ever Done Before
It’s funny to talk about “scoops” in the world of kitchen gear and cookware (unless you’re talking about, say, an ice cream scoop), but we just got the scoop on a brand-new Le Creuset color. That’s right — we got the exclusive sneak peek on a brand new Le Creuset color that launches today! And it’s not just any old color. It’s something Le Creuset says they’ve never done before. Without further ado, meet Agave.
According to Le Creuset, it’s the brand’s first colorway to blend two color families and is inspired by agave azul (also known as blue agave — a plant native to Mexico and used as the base ingredient for tequila). The color begins with a gorgeous jewel-toned green that transitions into a striking blue. The whole thing has a subtle ombre effect that makes it almost (we said almost) too pretty to cook in.

“Something really magical happens when these rich tones blend together,” Christopher Scinto, VP of marketing for Le Creuset, said in a press release. “We hope this revelatory hue inspires betterment and wonder in the new year.”
