Le Creuset’s New Everyday Enamelware Collection Will Bring Joy to Your Summer Tablescape
When you think of Le Creuset, you probably instinctively picture the iconic brand’s cult-favorite colorful Dutch ovens and cast-iron cookware. But Le Creuset offers so much more than just quality pots and pans. Take, for example, the Everyday Enamelware Collection. This newly launched eight-piece tableware line is about as adorable as can be and includes everything you need to create the perfect summery tablescape. Looks aside, it’s also incredibly affordable, with pieces starting at $14!
Featuring vintage-inspired navy blue and bright orange stripes, the white enamel pieces are reminiscent of the dinnerware used on summer camping trips, only they’re much sturdier. Unlike regular enamelware that tends to bend, crack or chip rather easily, Le Creuset’s pieces are made of carbon steel and finished with high-quality porcelain enamel, so they’re genuinely indestructible.
Another major pro? The durable pieces are light and designed to be stackable for easy carrying from the kitchen to the patio. And once you’re done, you can easily stash them away without taking up too much cabinet space. Plus, you’ll never have to fret about stains, scratches and rust — the shatterproof enamel coating is built to take on the rigors of outdoor dining.
Currently, the collection includes everything from dinner plates to canisters to mugs, with most items coming in under $20. Only the larger pieces, like the serving bowl set ($60 for three) and serving tray ($54), clock in a tad higher. And given all the at-home alfresco eating we’re all doing lately, these pieces will make those everyday meals feel a little more special.
Personally, I can’t stop picturing myself sitting on my New York stoop, sipping my morning brew from the retro coffee mug and eating fresh berries from the perfect-sized cereal bowl. It just feels right. Know what else feels right? Knowing that once the cooler weather rolls in, these sturdy pieces can easily replace my everyday dinnerware. Because seriously, who needs another broken plate on their conscience? Not me!
