Learn Tricks of the Trade at the Quilting Expo

Saying the words quilting expo out loud only conjures images of grey haired women with small glasses talking about the weather and "the kids these days..." Although we have nothing wrong with quilting, sewing or general self sustainability in the fabric arts, we dislike the title. Who's ever going to know it's actually a really cool place to be?

The Quilting Expo is held in different cities around the country, and several dates are still remaining. At each expo they're always showing off the latest models of sewing machines and quilting techniques that are making life easier for all you crafty folk.

Even if you're not into quilting per se, there are still dozens upon dozens of classes to learn master tricks of the trade from advanced seamstresses and instructors who are there to help. You can check out the Quilting Expo's website to see if it's coming to a city near you (or plan ahead for next year) and check out the list of classes that are available.

Check your local fabric stores to see if they offer similar classes if you're out of luck for this year's Expo. Have you taken a sewing class that you appreciated? Let us know in the comments below!
