Leda's Updated Home Office: New Desk, Chair, and More

The last time we mentioned Leda, she was busy reconfiguring her home office in a few different ways. Recently, she's updated her desk, chair, and some of the hardware that she uses daily. All in all, it's a nice addition to her place. We wonder how long she'll keep this one!

Leda loves technology and she's been changing her home office for a while. When the MacBook Air was announced, she felt it was time to get rid of her iPad. She had been using it for 7 months and thought that having both of these devices was a bit much.

Her new desk was custom-made by a shop in Istanbul. We have to say that the result is good and it looks very sturdy. She hides a file cabinet under the right side of her desk, allowing her to stash most of her peripherals out of sight. The left side has a slide-out portion that gives her some extra desk space when she needs it. When it's not in use, it slides away under the desk.

The desk pad she uses is the IKEA Knös, while her new chair comes from Bürosit theDaphne. On top of that, she added a vase filled with artificial roses, some photos of her son, and also some T20 speakers from Creative for listening pleasures. She had been waiting for a while for Apple to release a bigger screen and when they released the 27" LED, she knew she needed one for her workstation.

Updated Hardware
-27-inch LED Apple Cinema Display
-MacBook Air 11.6"
-Creative T20 desktop speakers
-New custom-made desk
-New chair: Bürosit Daphne
