Fans of LEGO’s iconic toy bricks span across every continent, age group, and all walks of life, with social media serving as a way to connect fans as one united LEGO community. For the first time in its 89-year history, the Danish company is hosting LEGO CON, a global celebration of — of course — all things LEGO.

Streaming live worldwide on June 26 at 12 p.m. ET and 9 a.m. PT, the 90-minute experience will bring LEGO enthusiasts together from LEGO House (aka The Home of the Brick) in Billund, Denmark, offering up live entertainment, big secret reveal news, behind-the-scenes glimpses into where the magic happens, and never-tried-before build attempts. They’re promising some “very special” guests, too, as well as a Q&A with LEGO designers.

The first-ever virtual convention is free to stream at the LEGO CON website for desktop and mobile devices for viewers from around the globe, and will be available to stream later on for those who aren’t able to join in on the fun live. The announcement is decidedly cryptic — there’s no schedule, but it’s sure to bring plenty of surprises.

Here’s hoping that future events will be in person, as it would be truly epic to meet LEGO lovers from far and wide in the place where it all began. But for now, it seems the introductory LEGO CON will be an exciting tribute to all things LEGO, so don’t miss it.
