I’ve lived the last fifteen years of my life either in apartment buildings or condos: some with laundry rooms in the basement, and some with no machines at all. We are lucky enough to now live in a condo building with a coin-operated, full-service laundry room downstairs, but with a baby on the way (and lots of messy, tiny baby clothes too!) we are considering investing in a portable washer. Have you tried one?

I’ve heard nothing but good things about these washers. Obviously, nothing will compare to the efficiency and luxury of a full-sized washer and dryer, but as a supplement, I’m encouraged!

These machines hook right up to a standard faucet with adaptor, and drain water through a tube that you leave right in your sink. Drying options are up to you, either on the line or a drying rack tucked away.
