When we were in college, printing class was one of our favorites. Linocut was the first printing technique that we learned. It is similar to woodcut, but it is much easier to master as linoleum is softer material to cut into. Catherine Deeson makes some beautiful linocuts. Check them out after the jump...

The Lighthouse piece is the one that got our attention. We love the shape of the waves and the lovely poem that works so well with the illustration. Catherine also makes cards and canvas bags. Visit her website to see all her products.

We came across Catherine Deeson's work on Tea For Joy.
