Lisco: a USB Cable That Reminds Us of the Best of the '90s

Of course we are talking about slap bracelets. Everyone knows that slap bracelets were one of the best things to come out of the '90s and with our love of nostalgia we could not pass up the chance to blog about a product that is oh so reminiscent of the infamous slap bracelet. Laurent Hongisto who brought us the very cool Ikea hack latte frother is the designer responsible for Lisco, the wearable USB cable.

Lisco is a USB cable that wraps around your wrist like a snake. Joining the ranks of tech objects that can serve as jewlery like Holedar headphones from Yoonsang Kim, Hongisto's design transforms this purely functional object into something more by allowing it to be utilized as a bracelet.

We also think it's pretty great from a cable management perspective, this cable can easily coil around other cables helping to keep your workspace clean and tidy. The cable also looks great left coiled on a desk, it's one USB cable we won't have to work at hiding. Lisco is also easy to transport, instead of packing it in your bag, why not throw it on your wrist?

For more on the Lisco and to view some of Hongisto's other designs, check out his portfolio on Coroflot.

What do you think? Innovative idea? Fun design? Do you think we will see more wearable headphones and cables on the horizon?
