If you thought that the Logitech Squeezebox was only good as a music player, think again: this little gizmo can do all sorts of things, and we're pretty sure that once you get one, you'll be carrying it around with you from room to room.

Although the Squeezebox Touch isn't new, it was first announced last fall, we haven't seen it around much, so it's a bit of a sleeper. It functions like any network streamer, letting you stream music via a WiFi network. Basically, it gives you access to the music which is on your computer, anywhere in your house.

On top of that, Logitech has included Squeezebox Apps, allowing you to access Pandora, Rhapsody, Shoutcast, Sirius Internet Radio, and Napster. It naturally comes with a Facebook app! Since it has the moniker "Touch" in its name, you know that it's got a capacitive 4.3-inch screen.

The icing on the cake is the multi-functional alarm clock. You can program a variety of alarms on different days, along with many different sounds. The RCA jacks in the back allow you to plug it into any stereo system. Alternatively, you can also use coaxial or optical audio ports. The headphone jack also does a good job.

Naturally, all this jazz doesn't come cheap. The Logitech Squeezebox Touch costs $300, which is a lot to spend on this modern version of a clock radio. However, we think that it is worth it if you are looking for stylish ways of accessing the music on your computers. It comes with a matching remote.
