Living in Chicago, it's sometimes hard to escape the concrete jungle aspect of citylife. We're far more likely to be found pounding the pavement than stepping one pale, bare toe in grass. This is why, when we just happen to find ourselves in a garden, we must remember to seize the moment: to pause for one second and just breathe.

Whether they're trimmed and lovely or a little wild and sexy, gardens can sneak up on you in the oddest of places...

...like at an entrance to a parking lot at a storage facility.
