To call Anne and John Moss old school would be an understatement. When the Pennsylvania couple wanted to expand their cooking and entertaining space, they did what a lot of homeowners do: They looked outside. But instead of designing an outdoor room, they added a small log cabin that's more Plymouth Colony than modern cabana.
The rustic 12x14 cabin was built entirely by hand with local timber using traditional building methods. Even the cooking tools were made on John's own small forge! There's an open hearth for cooking, a stone oven for baking, a long table for dining, and just enough room for a group of friends and a small band. At the end of the day, what more do you need?
