Big Box Herman Miller

While strolling through the aisle of our local, bulk, big box retailer something new caught our attention. A line of Herman Miller chairs being treated like an in-store merry-go-round, by a group of children who's parents were no where to be seen. Click through to hear our review, get pricing and details on available models.

After doing some digging it appears they have been available at different locations throughout the country since March. We just saw them in our local store recently, so our apologies to those which this might be old news.

There are two different lines available, the Equa for $329-$569 (left) and the Caper for $329 (right).

Within the Equa line there are varying degrees of posh-ness. Some come in a slightly larger size while others have additional padding which can help relieve leg fatigue. The Caper is only available in one size, but gives you a choice of color. We did however find the Equa retailing in the Costco near us for $299 instead of the website price, so it might be worth a trip to the one closest you to double check on any bargains!

All in all, they didn't blow us away with comfort, but we also didn't take an hour to adjust all the bells and whistles to our liking (we were on a mission for goat cheese!). They aren't at the typical bulk big box discount prices you usually find with other big ticket items, although we have to admit it would save us on shipping had we of ordered them from the website.

Have you tried out these chairs yet? What's your reaction been? Leave us a comment and let us know!
