For some time, Jocke Jokkmokk didn't know what to do with his corner chimney that seemed to eat up a quarter of his living room space, distracting from his movie theater experience he was looking to create. Instead of demolishing it, he decided to embrace the vintage chimney, added some paint to his media wall (kinda like how some people wallpapered it up in yesterday's posting), and touched it up to become a conversation piece rather than an "eyesore." The results clearly speak for themselves.
Using the chimney as a secondary focal point (the first, obviously being the TV), Jocke creates an added sculptural detail that makes the room feel even more comfortable than if he were to try and cover it up. Luckily, he avoided his initial intentions of trashing the chimney altogether and decided to revamp it up.
A shot of his current living room set-up for all who's interested. The equipment he's got his paws on are as follows: Panasonic PT-AE3000 projector, Grand View Velvet 2,35:1 curved screen, and KEF iQ7 speakers (which are ever so droolworthy).
