Look! Reclaimed Bottle Garland

Want to add a naturally festive touch to your outdoor garden party or an inside window? We adore the look of simple sprigs in recycled vases and this bottle garland is a lovely example. Guess what it's made from?

Available at Uncommon Goods, the reclaimed bottle garland is made in Thailand from re-purposed, sanitized insulin bottles! Held together with galvanized wire, the six-foot long garland can be hung vertically or horizontally to hold cut flowers or herbs.

Although insulin bottles seem like the perfect size and shape, we can imagine other small bottles like spice jars, extract bottles, medicine dropper bottles, or even lightbulbs being put to good use in a DIY version.
