Moen is commonly recognized as an industry leader for its water conservation and waste reduction initiatives. Most of Moen's bath and sink faucets and showerheads have WaterSense certification, and feature a 1.5 gpm flow rate. Even their flow-optimized aerators restrict flow from the standard 2.2 gpm to a 1.5 gpm— a very simple add-on if you don't want to replace your whole faucet.
In addition to manufacturing products that conserve water, Moen abides by conservation practices within its own walls. Moen has partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), United States Green Building Council (USGBC), Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Additionally, they claim they recycle more than 90% of all metal, scrap, return products and manufacturing by-products (oils and solvents) and, since 2009, have reused 70% of all the water used in product testing.
You can find Moen's collection of faucets, showerheads, aerators, and filtration systems at Home Depot, Lowes, and Menards. If you want to read more review of Moen faucets, check out the 276 reviews at Viewpoints, where Moen kitchen faucets received a 4.46 out of 5 stars.
