After years of walking by and promising myself I would check it out, I finally stepped into Luna Garcia . Behold! Two showrooms stacked high with handcrafted dishes, vases, plates, platters, butter dishes and bowls of every conceivable color. A husband and wife team fill every order on-site, sign and date each piece. They’ve been making ceramics “with a human touch” at the same Venice location (a charming warehouse from the canal days) since 1985.
Check out their website: it includes catalog pages, an “ideas” slide show and an area for special orders.
