Lynn-Anne's Eclectic Collections

I love collecting things from trips and travels — things from halfway across the world and things from down the street at a favorite thrift store. And I like to display my latest find right out where I can see them. That's why I'm loving Lynn-Anne's collections — beautiful moments around the house that don't take over the house.

From the pile of shells that fill up mantel space against a vintage nautical themed screen to a collection of new plants filling up beautiful bowls by the windowsill, I love how Lynn-Anne has grouped her finds together and clustered them to draw attention to her collections. Because not every surface is covered, it gives the collections room to breathe and looks more 'on purpose' than if every flat space was covered. She's also grouped like things together which helps to make the collections feel like a collection and not clutter.

Check out Lynn-Anne's Converted Attic and her blog FergusAndMe for more of her style.
