The lovely Cheri Heaton of I Am Momma Hear Me Roar has been busy crafting up a storm lately. Well it's not so much a storm as it is a Batmobile! This set of wheels isn't just any craft project though, it's super sturdy and has a built-in bookshelf to make it the ultimate reading nook and super hero escape.

Cheri set out to make something extra sturdy while sticking to an extremely limited budget. She turned to every parent's crafty helper — cardboard. By using triple layers of it, she was able to gain strength and the ability to use power tools. She used a jig saw to save time and for super clean end results.

Cheri takes you through the steps of making your own Batmobile reading nook at I Am Momma Hear Me Roar and we think it's a great project. Even if you're not into Batman, you could use be inspired to create Cinderella's coach or Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet or Kit from Knight Rider!
