Make a Swiveling Kinect TV Mount

We've talked a lot about the possibilities of the Kinect, but what do you do when your living room space is less than ideal? The solution this Instructables user found for his less than ideal Kinect playing living room space was to use a swivel mount. Being an Instructables user, he of course went the DIY route.

Once Instructables user Mmcdonald6 set up his Kinect he knew he had to get creative with the mount thanks to his living room space. In order to maximize the use of the Kinect in the space, the mount would need to swivel to match the different positions the players would be in. Unable to find the mount he was looking for in stores, he created a solution using items from his home.

To make this project you will need: the base of the PDP Kinect Wall Mount, U-Bolts, pipe/rigid tubing (length will vary with TV size and diameter), flexible tubing (the diameter of tubing should be such that it fits closely over the pipe/rigid tubing making a sleeve), 1/4-20 thread stock, 1/4-20 nut, washer, spring (make sure it can fit around the 1/4-20 thread stock), and 1/4-20 expansion anchor.

Check out the project on Instructables for the complete instructions.
