Big box stores make it easy to get all your tree ornaments in one fell swoop. We've seen the clear containers of shiny baubles in different colors. Easy and efficient, but consider making (and baking) your own tree ornaments this year.

Check out this beautiful spread we found over at Chicken in the Road. She's decorating her tree with sugar cookie cutouts, gingerbread men, dried oranges, and garlands of popcorn and cranberries. We started baking some gingerbread men and sugar cookie ornaments three nights ago. Not only does the house smell delicious but it really helps everyone get into the Christmas spirit. We've done popcorn garlands in previous years, but the dried oranges are new to us. We will definitely give them a try.
