Sure, you could spend a lot of money on flowers or chocolates... but nothing says "I love you" quite like a handmade gift. We've combed through our video archives to find fun, quick projects to make for your sweetie, or anyone else in your life who could use a little extra appreciation. With any luck, they'll enjoy receiving their gifts almost as much as you enjoy making them.

First up: felted soap! I've seen and been intrigued by felted soaps like these on Etsy and at boutique stores. But did you know you could make your own? It's actually really easy, and looks pretty fun to do. You could make one of these for each of your close friends — or a billion for someone you really love.

(P.S. - For those of you unfamiliar with the idea of felted soap, the felted soap suds up when you shower, sort of like a loofah, and acts as a soap and washcloth in one. All you have to do is let the wool dry out between washings — it's naturally hygenic and won't get icky.)

More felt! What is it about felt craft projects that is just so damn adorable? Here, Maxwell shows you how to make a felt ball garland — a perfect decoration for Valentine's day, or just for the heck of it.

What's more romantic than a light switch plate in the shape of an animal? Nothing, that's what. Want to make this little guy? Designer and maker Katie Deedy shows you how.

And of course, you'll need gift wrap. In this video, Maxwell shows you how to print your own wrapping paper with a potato. (You could also wrap your store-bought gifts in handmade gift wrap for a personal touch.)

Thanks for watching, and happy crafting!
