Make This: DIY Reclaimed Indoor Clubhouse

Who says clubhouses and forts are for outdoors only? In the Mein home, they've built a great little getaway that's packed with pillows and memories. The best part is, they used what they had around the house and made something fabulous for their three kids. Check out more views after the jump.

To make this monster of a play space, Mr. Mein set to work using old floor boards and other lumber found in his attic. He used old doors from their 1940's home for the sides and the only thing they really bought outright were the bolts to hold it all together and a pulley for the kids to use.

We think it's a fabulous creation and looks like a great place to be a kid! Make sure to take a second look around your space and see if there's anything you can repurpose before heading to the hardware store to buy new - you might just have an entire clubhouse waiting in the wings!

Thanks Mein Family!
