Make Your Own DIY LEGO iPhone Stand/Dock

Although this isn't the first iPod/iPhone dock that's made out of LEGOs, it's certainly an interesting design, especially if you want a unique-looking dock and you've got a bunch of spare LEGOs in the house. Compared with some of the previous models we've seen, this one looks pretty simple to construct.

This case was actually glued together by its creator JohnnyT23. Although it makes his iPhone unwieldy, he uses this as his iPhone case, which is a bit surprising. We think that using it as a case is a bit much, but using something like this as a stand works pretty well.

The one that we featured previously was a rotating dock. This one doesn't rotate, so it's a lot easier to build. The design is pretty simple, yet efficient. You won't need any fancy LEGO bricks in order to build this. You also won't need any glue, unless you're planning on making this your iPhone case.

JohnnyT23 plans on selling these for $13 and he's working on an iPad version as well. We actually think that this is a fun project to try on your own. All you have to do is get some LEGOs, check out the pictures, and get cracking!
