Remember those awesome projects you created as a child pouring colored sand into bottles and jars? We just learned that you can do the same thing with colored salt. Where do you get colored salt? You make it!
Anne of Flax & Twine shows us that you can easily make colored salt by using chalk. Just pile a bit of on a piece of paper and rub a piece of chalk over the pile a few times until you get the desired saturation. Now your colored salt is ready to pour into the vessel of your choice.
