Making Holiday Cards from the Recycling Bin

Making Holiday Cards from the Recycling Bin

The idea of making your own holiday cards is a good one and usually turns into a labor of love. This story is no different except it has an eco friendly twist. Can you tell what these rectangles of paper used to be? Find out where they started and how they ended up

I ran across this fun idea over at Flickr which lead me to the blog If Sew, where Andrew and Shannon share with us their holiday card making experience. They cut up paper grocery sacks and printed on them with a Gocco, though you could always use a cool stamp or two!

They even went as far as to make envelopes from the same holiday shopping bags and slid their season's greetings right inside. It's a great way to spend just a little and have a touch of handmade without spending a fortune. Check out their full post on the adventure over at If Sew.
