Name: Mandi
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Type of Home: rental apartment

Color Inspiration: I’ve always been inspired by the saturated colors of Paul Gauguin and his Tahitian paintings. We wanted the alcove to be a surprise as you come around the corner, and Ian had used a similar color successfully in a previous apartment. The peacock blue was chosen for its vibrancy against the mango walls, and for its beautiful depth of color.
