Anime-Themed Workstation From Shanghai

This great-looking workstation comes directly from Shanghai, China. It's amazing how you can change the look and feel of a home office with the right decorations. Although this might not be for everyone, it will give you ideas on how to customize your own home office.

Aiko is from Shanghai and he enjoys photography, anime (Japanese cartoons), and figurines coming notably from anime and mangas (Japanese comic books). The zany decorations heighten the overall feel of his workstation. While not everyone would enjoy these, a few of these would be very interesting to have around, especially if you enjoy anime.

Aiko uses an MS Arc mouse in his setup. He's got dual monitors coupled to his main computer. His beautiful IKEA glass desk is large enough for many different things, including this laptop. Tasteful spots light up his figurine collection on the right, while he houses his PS3 on the left. His room is painted green and his desk is against the window, which means that he can enjoy the natural light during the daylight hours.

The really interesting thing is that it looks like he placed two spots under his frosted glass desk. Since the glass is frosted, it distributes the glow diffusely, meaning that the whole desk lights up. This is a very interesting idea, which can also be accomplished with IKEA LED Dioder strips.
