Does reading bring you joy? What about organizing and tidying, do those things bring you joy? Are you able to fold your shirts so that they have the ability stand on their own (spoiler alert: I still struggle with this)? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then brace yourself, because tidying guru Marie Kondo is releasing a new book.

That’s right, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, who’s tidying style—the KonMari Method—requires you to first ask yourself if the various items in your life spark joy, has announced her forthcoming release. The Life Changing Manga of Tidying Up: A Magical Story is out on June 27.

The book is a graphic novelization, or Japanese Manga, that puts a narrative spin on Kondo’s best-selling book. It also features illustrations by award-winning manga artist Yuko Uramoto.

According the book’s publisher, Ten Speed Press, The Life Changing Manga of Tidying Up tells “the quirky story of a woman who transforms her home, work, and love life using Kondo’s advice and inspiration.” The Life Changing Manga of Tidying Up’s fictional protagonist, Chiaki, is a young woman bogged down by her messy Tokyo apartment, who is struggling in both life and love. “After receiving a complaint from her attractive next-door neighbor,” Chiaki is spurred into action to get her home in order, notes the publisher’s website.

Will the The Life Changing Manga of Tidying Up: A Magical Story also sell 6 million copies? Only time will tell. It is safe to say that with Kondo’s upcoming book, the recent release of the film Ghost in the Shell (based on a manga series), and the release of mangas in North America like the upcoming Splatoon (based on a wildly popular Nintendo game), the Japanese comic medium is receiving a lot of attention in the US.

Although Kondo’s new book isn’t available until June 27, you can pre-order a copy here. And if that’s not enough to fill your KonMari void before June, check out these magical posts.
