Marvelous Mirrors: From Retail To Real World DIY

Loyal readers will know we have a small passion for mirrors when it comes to small spaces. They're one of the fastest and most inexpensive ways to open up a space and make it feel a little larger and brighter. This project not only utilizes mirrors, but it creates a large focal point while doing it — all without breaking the bank.

Amanda Dale from Texas had a recent visit from her Mother. While out shopping they fell in love with a series of circular hanging mirrors from a local retail establishment (it rhymes with G Zallerie).

Like many retail mirrors, the price was a little high, at least for this family who knew they could diy instead. Their end result in the photo above and it looks nearly identical to the original. Make sure you hop over to The Ivy Cottage to see Amanda's Mom in action as she diligently spray paints wooden rounds, mounts mirrors and even works with chain to get the job done!
