Shelley Stevens sent us in a fabulous train table makeover. This poor table was coated in ridiculously thick layers of old paint and had seen better days, but only having paid $15 for it at her local Salvation Army store, she set to work stripping and refinishing and the results are of super-star quality!
One side of the train table top was done in chalkboard paint and the other is all cork. She also kept a spare topper that came with it sporting a Thomas the Train logo and although we're sure her little one will love it, we're voting for the one with Mom's hard work and love embedded in it!
This is a great transformation and a great example of what can come from a little desire, a great deal of elbow grease and the determination to finish a project 100% and not leave it sitting in the garage for years on end! You can read more about the makeover, along with a few more photos over at TexBamaBaby.
