Q: I bought dark gray velvet to make blackout curtains for my nursery and was surprised by how much light shines through, even with a double cotton lining. What materials would work well as a liner and block out more light? I want to avoid the material usually used in blackout curtains because it's toxic and I also want something that isn't too thick. Can it be done?
